This is the kind of conversation I get asked a lot. The truth is, I have never been afraid of a campus police officer. I know they’re out there doing their jobs, and I’m not. My main concern is that this happens so often that people are unaware of what they’re doing. People are always complaining about the police, but I have yet to hear of a campus cop doing anything but trying to do their job.
With a university student who’s been trying to figure out who’s responsible for his own problems, you have to be a little bit wary of how people act and behave on campus.
The issue with the school police department is that they are usually pretty busy doing their jobs, but theyre not always aware that theyre doing them. If they are, theyre not doing their job well. The problem is that they dont seem to know how to do them even when theyre doing them.
